My name is Chris Zwarych and I am an active percussion educator and composer/arranger in the New Jersey area. I am now accepting clients for the 2012 season.

I have been an active educator and performer for the last 9 years. During that time, I have instructed and written for a number of ensembles of varying sizes and performed in a number of venues throughout the NJ/NY/PA area. These experiences have allowed me to craft compositions, which have received great feedback from judges and garnered multiple USSBA championships and percussion awards for my clients.

I am comfortable writing for a large competitive group, a small-inexperienced group or any combination in between. My experience in marching band and drum corps allows me to craft a quality percussion arrangement that makes musical sense, supports the wind arrangement and gives your students an exciting challenge and a chance to shine. I utilize the latest technology (Sibelius, Virtual Drumline) to create your parts as well as any other mp3s you may need for rehearsal purposes.

Being a public school educator myself, I am very in tune with the economy and the state of school budgets. I am more than willing to work with school budgets to give your program what it needs to succeed in 2012.

As we continue to grow the Crimson Kings, we are seeking a guard instructor to teach and build a guard line in the heart of New York City’s Chinatown.

You must have a clean record and experience teaching youth groups ages 7 to 22. You should be a patient team player with initiative interested in assisting further development of national and color guard programs. You are enthusiastic, works well with youths, and loves everything there is to love about color guard and drum corps activities. You will be responsible for teaching a range of experience levels but mostly beginners, creating routines, and working towards developing a winter guard program.

Experience with drum corps, winter guard and/or marching band is ideal though we are open to similar type experiences. Please list any experience in the following areas: rifle, saber, flag, choreography, dance/movement, gymnastics, martial arts, makeup and hair, special effects, drama/theater, and costume design. Being multilingual is a plus in either Chinese and/or Spanish but not a requirement.

My name is Brian, and I’m currently looking for a battery/front ensemble tech or arranging job for hire. I’m looking to expand upon my views and ideas to upcoming drumlines. I’ve marched in high school band in a very good marching band for all 4 years. I have participated in ensembles of all kinds, including jazz bands and percussion ensembles in both high school and college (Michigan State University – music performance major). Other ensembles I have participated with and performed in are the Glassmen of Toledo, OH in DCI World Class, and NorthCoast Academy Percussion Ensemble in WGI World Class.

I have taught as a private drum instructor for 3 years, with instruction in both concert percussion and marching percussion. I have also written the percussion book for a few schools I have taught at previously. I’m looking to get my “foot in the door” into the competitive marching/percussion circuit and would love to have someone contact me if interested.

I have reliable transportation and means to effectively teach and write music.
