Private Trumpet/Brass Instructor

As a 2007 graduate of the SUNY Purchase College master's program, I have been able to study with some of the most accomplished musicians in New York. Their guidance along with my professional experience has equipped me with the knowledge and tools needed to be a successful performer and teacher.
As a professional jazz and commercial trumpet player, I have had the opportunity to perform and tour with a variety of professional ensembles. This experience has enabled me to further hone my craft and explore new music ventures. In addition to performing, I have been involved with many public and private school systems as a private trumpet and brass instructor. For over nine years, I have worked with students from all ages teaching them the concepts of playing the trumpet. While my expertise lies with the trumpet, I have had great success teaching students how to play any brass instrument. As an ensemble director I have led and coached many student and collegiate groups in concert band, large jazz ensemble, jazz combo, Latin orchestra, salsa band, brass ensemble and instrumental sectionals.
